Campaign Launch

adidas wanted to create a digital campaign to launch Kid Cudi’s first signature adidas shoe, the Vadawam 326. The campaign needed to generate hype, honor Cudi’s creative vision, and connect with his audience in a way that felt authentic and inspiring.









THE IDEA

Visualize Kid Cudi’s creative mindset through illustration and animation—bringing his signature out-of-this-world aesthetic to life. 

The campaign sent a message of positivity and imagination, positioning the Vadawam not just as a sneaker, but as an extension of Cudi’s artistic universe.











To translate Kid Cudi’s imagination into a visual language, we partnered with artist Mad Kobra to develop a system of cosmic illustrations.

As Senior Art Director, I helped shape the creative concept for Kid Cudi’s first adidas signature shoe launch, guiding the campaign’s visuals through concepting, illustration direction, set design, photo shoot direction and animation. I oversaw all digital asset creation and post-production, ensuring the work consistently represented the Vadawam 326 storytelling strategy.
